Joojo’s Heart Foundation was established on September 23, 2021, by Dr. Theophilus Awuah, BS, PharmD ( Pharmacist), and Angela Awuah, RN, BSN, PMHN-CRNP.
Joojo’s Heart Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that also qualify as Section 501(c)(3) exempt organizations.
The focus of Joojo’s Foundation outreach programs in Ghana, Africa includes bullet points as listed but No Poverty with Create and Assist with Mental Health Awareness includes:

- Local Outreach

- Affordable Healthcare
To this end, the foundation shall provide funding for charitable and educational purposes such as for the care of children, the aged, the sick, the helpless, the poor, or the incapacitated, and any other agency for the improvement of the moral, mental, social, or physical well-being of disadvantaged people, primarily people of African descent, and to carry on and engage in any and all lawful activities that may be incidental or reasonably necessary to any of the foregoing objects and purposes.
All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
